These include the Providence Elementary weekend food bags and clothing closet, meals on wheels, UMCOR Warehouse, The Joel Curry Soup Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, 305 8th Street Group Home, Enable, and International Mission Trips.
Music
Grace’s Music Ministry gives students in grades K-8 the opportunity to participate in Graceful Singers, a church musical performed twice per semester. Additionally, they coordinate the twice-yearly cantata performances by our choir and local musicians on Good Friday and during Advent.
Grace Woods
Grace has a beautiful 20 acre property on Indian creek and the Grace Woods team has been working very hard cutting trails throughout the wooded portion of our property. Our Prayer Trail can be accessed from the parking lot on the awning side of the church and contains the Stations of the Cross and places to stop and pray. The team is working on a new trail connecting to Indian Creek at the back of the Church’s property.
Small Groups
We believe that community is an important part of our walk with Christ. The Small Groups Ministry coordinates Sunday School and small group activities for adults.
Food & Fellowship
The wonderful Food and Fellowship team coordinates opportunities for fellowship and makes excellent meals for our church.
Thrift Store
Grace recently began operations of our Thrift Store. It is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10am to 3pm on the church property.
Technology
The Technology Team operates the soundboard, projection, livestream, and camera during each of our services and events. If you are interested in joining this team, please see someone in the tech booth after the service.
Welcoming
The Welcoming Team coordinates greeters and our coffee cart. They are always willing to help everyone who is new to our church and drop of gifts.
Congregational Care
The Congregational Care team makes sure that church members are taken care of. Whenever someone has a surgery or other medical event, they drop off food. Additionally, they coordinate visits to homebound and nursing home members as well as sending cards.
